Brett is the Managing General Partner at Redbud VC, where he has built the firm into a top-decile performing venture capital fund. He was named to the 2024 Forbes 30 Under 30 list for Venture Capital. He has raised over $40M in capital across startups and VC. 

Previously, Brett co-founded three fintechs, built the Scale Accelerator, and supported finance/analytics at a family office. Brett was early at VC-backed Paytient.com and The LegalTech Fund. Before venture, Brett led transaction and litigation valuation engagements for startups to public companies at Stern Brothers. Brett holds a CPA and the ABV accreditation, SIE, and has an MBA from the University of Missouri.

He is based in Columbia, Missouri, where he enjoys spending time with his wife, Addison, and their two French bulldogs, Henry and Tom.
