1/ One great relationship can be worth a decade of work.
2/ I have a theory: the One Connection Phenomenon.
Every successful person had ONE connection that launched their career miles ahead of everyone else still grinding solo.
3/ Not six degrees. Not seven mentors. One connection.
(I have to say "one" or the founders in my DMs will send me their entire Rolodex.)
4/ One connection leads to a gig. The gig leads to a job. The job puts you in rooms with hundreds of people you'd never have met on your own.
5/ Shark Tank is the clearest example of this. Look at Mark Cuban's network. Distributors. Retail buyers. Licensing deals. Manufacturing partners. Legal.
Can you imagine what that's like to tap into?
6/ What would've taken a lifetime to build alone gets compressed into a single phone call.
7/ My one connection was Jai Malik. He connected me to my partners now and so many other opportunities that helped me get where I am.
Not only that, but he introduced me to a mindset and culture that is still with me today.
8/ You don't need six connections. You need one good one.
Who's yours?
